Saw action in nine games and started four games during the season...Was part of the offensive line that blocked for All-Conference running back C.J. Tuckett as well as senior quarterback Mike Hoke.

Sat out the season as a red shirt with the Wildcats.

Graduated from Layton High School in 2008 where he played for Jim Bachelor...Earned 5A First Team All-State honors from the Salt Lake Tribune...Helped the Lancers advance to the state championship game and post a 12-2 record as a senior.
