Malone will be a junior defensive tackle for the ‘Cats this season.  In two seasons at Weber State he has appeared in 14 career games and has 22 total tackles with three tackles for loss.  

2011 (Sophomore)
Played in 10 games and started one game for the Wildcats...Recorded 16 total tackles on the year with 10 assisted and six unassisted tackles...Also had two tackles for loss, with one coming at Montana...Had 0.5 sacks on the year, coming in the season opening game at Wyoming...Also had one quarterback hurry during the year.

2010 (Freshman)
Appeared in five games as a defensive tackle for the Wildcats during the season...Played in the last five games of the season...Recorded six total tackles on the season with a season-high three tackles in WSU’s Nov. 13 win at Northern Arizona...Also had one tackle for a loss at Montana State and also had a force fumble in the game against the Bobcats.  

Kahuku High School

Comes out of the perennial Hawaii high school power, Kahuku High, in Laie where he played under Coach Reggie Torres...Helped the Raiders to the 2006 state championship title...First Team All-League OTA East, Second Team All-State...Is one of three Wildcats on the roster from Kahuku High...Sifa Heimuli and Veteson Sauni are the other Wildcats from Kahuku.


Full name is Malone Matui Ikaika Fiso...Was born July 11, 1988...Is majoring in Health Administrative Services at Weber State...Originally signed with the Wildcats in February 2007, but left to serve an LDS Church mission to Apia, Samoa.
