Played under Coach Bruce Gowen at Santa Fe High School in Edmond, Oklahoma...Comes out of the same high school program as Wildcat teammates Willie Okwuonu and Trevor Pletcher...Earned All-State, All-District, All-Area and All-Conference honors in 2009...Was rated as one of the top 20 offensive linemen in the state of Oklahoma his senior season...Helped two of his running back teammates rush for over 1,000 yards in 2008 and 2009...Posted a 3.80 GPA.
