Willie returns as a senior for the Wildcats. In three seasons he has played in 29 games at Weber State and has 72 total tackles. He suffered a broken leg during spring 2012 practice but should be ready to go for the fall.
Played in all 11 games for the Wildcats during the season...Recorded 32 total tackles with 18 assisted and 14 unassisted...Had career-highs of six tackles at Northern Colorado and home to Northern Arizona, both Wildcat victories...Recorded two tackles for loss on the year and had one sack at Eastern Washington...Recorded a forced fumble in WSU’s season opening game at Wyoming on Sept. 3.
Played in nine games for the Wildcats and started one contest, WSU’s Homecoming win over UC Davis on September 25...Recorded 18 total tackles on the year with eight unassisted and 18 assisted...Had season-highs of five tackles in back-to-back games against UC Davis and Eastern Washington...Also recorded four tackles in WSU’s first game of the season at Boston College.
Played in nine games and had 22 tackles...Had eight unassisted stops, five of them coming on special teams...Had a huge game at Montana with a career single-game best 10 tackles...Suffered an injury in the game and missed WSU’s last three contests.
Came to WSU as a walk on in the Fall of 2008 but showed some tough, physical play in practice sessions which caught the eyes of coaches...Sat out the season as a red-shirt.
Layton High School
Played for Coach Jim Batchelor at Layton High...Earned First Team All-State Class 5A honors...Helped the Lancers to a school record 13 wins during the 2007 season...Layton advanced to the state title game but lost...Was part of the school 4x100 meter team which set a Layton High school record.
Full name is William Paul Harris...Was born November 10, 1989... His father, Mark, was an outstanding wrestler at Utah State...Is majoring in Physical Education at Weber State.
