Wildcat track teams look for more improvements

LOGAN, Utah – The Wildcats’ quest for improvement continues this weekend.

The Weber State University men’s and women’s track and field teams will participate in their fourth weekend of competition, with most of the teams heading north to participate in the Mark Faldmo Invitational hosted by Utah State in Logan, Utah, while seven Wildcats will head to the Mt. Sac Relays in Torrance, Calif.

The Mark Faldmo Invitational will start on Friday afternoon at Ralph Maughan Track Stadium, beginning at 4 p.m., and continue Saturday, beginning at 10 a.m.

The Mt. Sac Relays will start on Thursday morning with the hammer throws and continue through Saturday. Seven Wildcats are set to participate in the prestigious meet.

After this weekend’s competition, the Wildcats will have a bye week from competition, before returning to action on April 28-29 at the Robinson Invitational, hosted by BYU in Provo, Utah.
