Wildcat track wraps up regular season in Idaho

POCATELLO, Idaho – For the Wildcats, it’s one final weekend to tune-up.

The Weber State University men’s and women’s track and field teams will take a trip north to Holt Arena in Pocatello, Idaho, this weekend to take part in the Mountain States Games. It will be the Wildcats’ final weekend of competition before the Big Sky Conference championships later this month.

Competition will begin on Friday morning with the Heptathlon and Pentathlon, continuing into Friday night, and will then being again on Saturday morning.

While the majority of the Wildcats are heading to Idaho, two Wildcats – Ellie Child and Josh Hartford – will be heading to the Pacific Northwest to take part in the Husky Classic on Saturday.

Following this weekend’s action, the Wildcats will have a bye weekend, and then participate in the Big Sky Conference championships at holt Arena on Feb. 23-25.
