OGDEN – After running a season-best 8.53 in the 60-meter hurdles at the Snake River Open this weekend in Pocatello, Idaho, senior Tawnie Moore has been named Big Sky Conference women’s track athlete of the week.

Moore, a senior from Ogden, is the defending Big Sky champion in the 60 hurdles, and vaulted from fifth to second on the conference performance lists. Moore owns the fast 60 hurdle time in the Big Sky this year, as current conference leader Nicole Stroot of Montana’s time is converted from the 55 hurdles.

Moore also ran a personal-best 25.62 in the 200 meters.

Weber State will be back in action this weekend at the Montana State Invitational in Bozeman, Mont.
