Weber State men’s basketball head coach Randy Rahe has announced changes to his coaching staff. Keith Berard and Kadin Kirk will leave the program to pursue other interests.
Berard, who joined WSU as an assistant coach last summer, is returning to Texas to be closer to family. During this past season with the Wildcats Berard focused on all areas of coaching including assisting with academics, recruiting, player development and game preparations.
“I understand Keith’s situation and I fully support him making a personal decision to move closer to his family,” Coach Rahe said. “I want to thank him for all his efforts with our staff this past season and for everything he did in helping our program. We wish him nothing but the best in his future endeavors.”
Kadin Kirk is leaving the position of Director of Basketball Operations after two years in the Weber State. Kirk will be pursuing a masters degree in business at Arizona State University. After spending one season as the video coordinator with the Wildcats, Kirk was elevated to Director of Basketball Operations last year. He assisted in all areas of the Wildcat program including travel and scheduling.
“Kadin has done an absolutely outstanding job for us in his time here,” Rahe said. “He has been an extremely hard worker and has helped us in countless ways and I really appreciate all of his efforts. Kadin has a really bright future and we wish him all the best.”
