OGDEN - The Big Sky Conference has announced its 2012 Spring Academic All-Conference teams for women's golf, men's and women's tennis, and men's and women's outdoor track and field. Weber State had 49 student-athletes named to those respective teams, the most of any school in the conference.
The Wildcats had 25 student-athletes from women's outdoor track and field, 10 from men's outdoor track and field, five from women's tennis, five from women's golf and four from men's tennis.
All total for the 2011-12 academic year Weber State had 128 student-athletes earn Big Sky Academic All-Conference honors.
To be eligible, a student-athlete must have met and/or exceeded three requirements. 1) Participation in at least half of the team's competitions. 2) achieved a grade point average of 3.20 (on a 4.0 scale) in the most recently completed term. 3) Completed at least one academic term at his/her school.
