OGDEN - The Weber State football team will stage its second scrimmage of
the spring season this Saturday at Stewart Stadium. New WSU head coach John L.
Smith will lead the Wildcats in the scrimmage which will be approximately 150
plays and will begin around 9:00 a.m. Saturday morning.
Last week the Wildcats staged their first scrimmage of the spring season.
Spring practice will continue next week with practices scheduled for Tuesday and
Thursday. The spring season will conclude with the annual Purple and White
Game on Saturday, April 14, which will begin at 6:00 p.m. at Stewart Stadium.
The Wildcat Club will sponsor a chalktalk for all fans beginning at 4:30 p.m.
which will give fans a chance to hear from Coach Smith and the new Wildcat
coaching staff.
The 2012 Weber State football season will begin Sept. 1 at Fresno State.
