OGDEN, Utah -- New head football coach John L. Smith and the Weber State
football team will hold the first full scrimmage of spring practice this
Saturday, March 31. The Wildcats will scrimmage beginning at 9:00 a.m. Saturday
at Stewart Stadium. All practices and scrimmages are open to the public.
The Wildcats will continue practice sessions with four practices scheduled
next week, including another scrimmage set for Saturday, April 7. Spring
practice will conclude with the annual Purple and White Game on Saturday, April
14. Due to a WSU track meet that day the spring game will begin at 6:00 p.m. on April 14. The Wildcat Club will sponsor a chalk talk for all fans with Coach Smith and the new coaching staff prior to the game at 5:00 p.m.
