Will Pridemore is in his eighth year at Weber State University, the fifth as Director of Compliance. His duties include monitoring the activities of all of Weber State's student-athletes, coaches, athletics department staff members, and boosters to ensure compliance with NCAA, Big Sky Conference, and institutional rules, working with prospective student-athletes to ensure that they are eligible for competition once enrolled at Weber State, and managing the Academic Performance Program, which includes the Academic Progress Rate (APR). Will previously served as Compliance Coordinator from 2009-2012.
A native of Prospect, KY, Will earned a Juris Doctor from the Marquette University Law School in Milwaukee, WI in 2009. While at Marquette, he earned the National Sports Law Institute's Certificate in Sports Law and served as a compliance intern at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Northern Illinois University, and the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. Will was also admitted to the Wisconsin Bar in May 2009. Prior to attending Marquette, Will graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN.
In his freetime, Will enjoys yelling at the television while watching the Vanderbilt Commodores' football, basketball, and baseball teams, rooting for the Cincinnati Reds, Cincinnati Bengals, and exploring hiking trails along the Wasatch front.
