QUICK FACTS ... One of the top prep runners in the state of Utah during the 2007-08 season. ... Was the 2007 Utah Class 5A girl’s cross country individual champion, leading the Davis High Darts to the 5A state championship. ... Davis High was invited to participate in the NIKE National Cross Country meet where the Darts finished among the top 10. ... Helped Davis High to a second place finish in the 2008 Utah Class 5A girl’s outdoor track&field championships by winning the 3,200 meter run in a state record time of 10:43.0. ... She is the younger sister of Morgan Haws who ran track and cross country for Weber State last season. Morgan earned All-America honors at the 2008 NCAA Division I Women’s Outdoor Track&Field Championships in the 10,000 meter run.

 

2009: Cross Country - ... Red-shirted the 2009 cross country season due to injuries.

2010: Indoor - ... Won the 5,000 Meter run at the 2010 Big Sky Conference Indoor championship in Bozeman, Montana in a personal best time of 17:00.61. ... Came back to finish 2nd in the 3,000 Meter run in a personal best time of 9:52.41 which is the 5th best time in WSU women's indoor history. .. Was WSU's leading individual scorer in the meet with 18 points.  ... She was named the FEMALE TRACK ATHLETE of the 2010 Big Sky Conference Indoor Track & Field Championship.  ... Also named to the 2010 Big Sky Conference Indoor Track All-Academic Team with a 3.60 gpa in Athletic Therapy.

2010: Outdoor - ... Coaches were looking for her to step up and have a big year, but a leg injury prevented her from running and she sat out the season as a red-shirt.


2008: Cross Country - ... Was the team's top finisher in every race during the 2008 season.  ...  Earned All-Big Sky Conference honors with a 5th place finish in the 2008 Big Sky Conference championship in Portland, Oregon ... Ran 17:21.6 in the 5K race.   ...  Earned All-NCAA Mountain Region honors with a 10th place finish at the 2008 NCAA Mountain Region meet in Fort Collins,Colorado . ....Covered the 6K course in 20:53.5. ... Earned an individual berth into the 2008 NCAA Division I Women's Cross Country championships in Terre Haute, Indiana where in the field of 252 runners, she finished 137th in a time of 21.29.1 over the 6,000 meter course.  ...  She had the 13th best time among all the FRESHMEN in the field.

2009: Indoor - Her first collegiate meet on the track resulted in a time of 9:58.41 in the 3,000 meter run on Jan. 16 at the Bengal Shootout. That was a 2009 Big Sky Conference Indoor Meet qualifying time. She won the race by 20 seconds.  ...  For that effort, she was named the Big Sky Conference Female Track Athlete of the Week.   ...  Qualified in the One Mile Run on Jan. 31 at the Bronco Invitational in a season and personal best time of 4:57.95.  ... Ran the 3rd fastest indoor 5,000 meter time in school history (16:45.69) on Feb. 14 at the University of Washington Invitational.   ... Placed 3rd at the 2009 Big Sky Conference Indoor meet in both the 5,000 meters (17:51.65) and 3,000 meters (10:03.54) earning All-Conference honors in both events.

2009:  Outdoor - ...Placed 3rd in the 5,000 meters (17:39.72) and 4th in the Steeplechase 910:39.86) at the 2009 Big Sky Conference Outdoor championships. The 5,000 meters time is her career outdoor best time.    ...  Ran a career best in the Steeplechase of 10:22.69 at the Mt. SAC Relays on April 17. That is the 7th best time in WSU women's track&field field history and qualified her for the 2009 NCAA Region meet.  ... Had a 9th place finish in that 2009 NCAA West Region meet in 10:35.12.
