Weber State University boasts two of the finest track & field facilities in the Western United States. The 200 meter polyurethane indoor track located in Swenson Gymnasium on campus is the home of the Wildcat men's and women's track & field teams. The indoor facility is the site of numerous high school meets, as well as WSU's own annual invitational track & field meet.

The outdoor 400 meter track, located in Wildcat Stadium, is a brand new state-of-the-art purple latex track which was added during the Spring of 1997. An annual high school invitational and two NCAA meets are scheduled in the near future. Originally named the William H. Child Track, the name was changed by Child to honor longtime WSU track coach Charles "Chick" Hislop, who retired following the 2007 season.
