Weber State men’s tennis came up short today as they fell to Montana State 5-2 Saturday afternoon.
“Montana State had something on the line and competed very well,” said Director of Tenis Brad Ferreira. “We gave another one away. This has been a very frustrating season. We have just not had things go our way and nothing has clicked together.”
Only two Wildcats picked up wins. Kris van Wyk earned a hard fought win in the No. 3 spot over Alexander Flink with scores of 6-3, 5-7, 7-6 (2).
Cezary Walkusz stole a nice victory in the No.6 spot with scores of 6-3, 6-3 over Dylan Harvala.
Weber State finishes out the season at Montana Sunday afternoon and are currently sitting at 7-12 overall on the season and 4-6 in Big Sky play.
