BOULDER CITY, Nev. — The Weber State women's golf team wrapped up the Battle at Boulder Creek with a fifth-place finish after posting a three-round total of 847 at the Boulder Creek Golf Club.
Kaceelyn Pouttu led the Wildcats, recording her fourth top-10 finish of the season with a sixth-place finish after rounds of 74-76-74 for an eight-over-par total of 224.
Southern Utah won the team title, shooting a total of 882. South Dakota State (886) and Northern Colorado (904) finished second and third, respectively.
The Thunderbirds were led by Taylor Viquelia, who shot an even-par 216 for medalist honors, and Poy Prasurtwong, who finished second at 217. Kyla Smith finished fifth at 223 to give SUU three players in the top-5.
Haylee Chugg earned a 20th place finish with a total of 236 to give Weber State two players in the top-20.
Xena Motes shot 244 to finish 27th, while Michelle Tierney (247) tied for 31st and Sierra Harr (255) finished 38th. Lexie Albi shot 265 playing as an individual and finished in 42nd place.
