David Gannon
Position: Assistant Coach
Experience: 1st Year

David Gannon is in his first season as an assistant coach with the Wildcat volleyball team. He joined the program in March 2015 with new head coach Jeremiah Larsen.

Gannon comes to Weber State after spending the 2014 season with the University of Idaho, where he served as the Director of Volleyball Operations for the Vandals.

Prior to his stint with Idaho, which he helped lead to a 15-14 overall record and an 11-5 mark the Big Sky Conference’s North Division, Gannon was an assistant coach at Mesa Community College in Mesa, Ariz., for three seasons. He also coached juniors clubs in Arizona from 2010-13. During the summers of 2013 and 2014, Gannon worked with USA Volleyball High Performance in Colorado Springs, Colo., as an assistant coach during youth/select A2 Camp.

Gannon received his Bachelors of Science degree from Arizona State University in 2013. Gannon, and his wife, Lynnette, have one daughter, Gwen.
