Paul Bugnet is the Athletic Trainer for the Men’s and Women’s Track and Field and Cross Country Teams. Paul came to Weber State as Assistant Athletic Trainer in 2010 and is in his Seventh season with Track and Field. He has also served as Trainer for the Men’s and Women’s Tennis teams and Spirit Squad here at WSU for one season.
Paul, a 2002 graduate of Weber State University, completed his Masters Degree in Exercise science in 2006 at Utah State University. He has served as head athletic trainer at Morgan High School (2003-2004 & 2006-2008) and at Ogden High school (2008-2010). Paul has also served as an adjunct professor/Clinical instructor here at WSU since 2008, teaching in the undergraduate athletic training program in WSU’s Jerry and Vickie Moyes College of Education.
Paul competed as a student athlete on the WSU Track and Field team here from 1998-2002. He currently lives in Morgan County with his wife Chalaine and their three children Bailey, Brandon and Bella. Paul loves anything outdoors and stays active by competing in local triathlons and road races year round.
