Kylee Street, formerly Kylee Bufton, rejoins the Wildcat softball coaching staff in 2016-17 as an assistant coach. Coach Street served as Weber State’s graduate assistant for two seasons, including Weber State’s first Big Sky Conference championship season in 2015.
“Coach Street has valuable experience with our players and our program,” Amicone said. “She worked with our outfielders and assisted with our hitters in here first stint with the Wildcats, and will fill the same capacity while also assisting in recruiting. Kylee has illustrated an advanced knowledge in several areas of the game. We look forward to utilizing her experiences and her ability to understand, teach and communicate all areas of the game to our student-athletes.”
As a player, Street played for Coach Amicone at Salt Lake Community College where she finished her sophomore year as an NFCA All-West Region second team outfielder, as well as being named the national junior college player of the week during that same year.
After SLCC she played her final two years at Dixie State University. As a senior she was named to the
All- PacWest Conference 1st Team at second base in addition to earning NFCA All-West Region honors.
After Dixie State, Street went on to become the graduate assistant at Weber State while she obtained her master’s degree between 2013-2015. She graduated with a Master’s of Professional Communication degree in 2015.
